Structural Waterproofing Project

Liquatek were successful in their tender bid to undertake extensive basement damp & waterproofing work as part of a major refurbishment project at this famous London dance studio.

METHODOLOGY

In order to overcome damp problems to the below-ground vaults, Liquatek carried out waterproofing works using a variety of methods including cementitious Sika Waterproof Tanking and the installation of a Newton (mesh) Cavity Drain Membrane System to the walls and curved ceilings with a specialist White Wall Lime Plaster finish.

RESULT

On completion of the works, a dry environment was achieved within the basement areas allowing the dance school to expand into this space. Guarantees for waterproofing works were issued by Liquatek.
